HI SNR Lab

Zoe Worrall is a PhD student in the Electrical, Computer & Energy Engineering department at the University of Colorado Boulder. Within the HI SNR lab, she is developing an inversion algorithm and hardware system to determine water content within trees. She received a B.S. in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College. During her undergraduate degree, she conducted research using biophotonic systems, working on the in-vivo imaging system openIVIS and developing a system to perform off-axis holography for a neural imaging device. She has to programmed Ettus and AMD software defined radios through her past work with MIT Lincoln Laboratories as a summer intern and through the Harvey Mudd Clinic Program. In addition, she acted as a team lead during her senior year to develop the QuACK Overlay for HRL Laboratory’s Quantum Instrumentation Control Kit. Zoe’s research interests lie in the realm of signal processing and FPGA programming. In her free time, she can be found bouldering, drawing, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or skiing with friends.
